Yes we do take insurance via Headway. We are currently able to accept Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem, Select, Quest, Carelon, with Oxford and United in the near future.

At Colorado Adolescent Counseling, we specialize in working with tweens, teens, and young adults (ages 10–20+). Counseling is available both in person and via telehealth. Andrea Chapman, our founder and sole therapist, uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT). These approaches help clients process negative emotions, build positive coping strategies, and challenge irrational thoughts by replacing them with more reality-based thinking.

Andrea has years of experience supporting adolescents through the unique challenges of middle school, high school, and the transition into young adulthood. She focuses on building strong relationships and creating a supportive environment where clients feel safe to grow and heal.

A typical therapy session lasts between 45 to 60 minutes, depending on your individual needs.

Parents receive updates every 4 weeks, typically through email or phone calls. These updates provide a brief summary and an opportunity to address any questions or concerns. Additional communication can be arranged on a case-by-case basis, and some families may establish a custom update schedule to best meet their needs.

We will work with adolescents and young adults facing a variety of challenges, including:

• Depression and anxiety

• Trauma (such as divorce, violence, grief, loss, and PTSD)

• Stress and self-image concerns

• Eating and body-related issues

• Sports-related stress and performance pressures

Each client’s experience is unique, and therapy is tailored to support their specific needs.
